Three questions to deal with peer relationships
When someone calls you a name or labels you or says something you don't like ask yourself these three questions.
If it is true, then continue to the next question;
if it is not true, you are through.
Is there something you can do about it?
Is this something you can change?
If the answer is yes, continue to the next question.
IF the answer is no, you are through.
Do I want to change this thing about me?
IF the answer is no, you are through.
If the answer is yes, make a plan,
get a coach to help you make the changes you decide to make.
The other person has nothing to do with your emotional reaction.
That is a choice you have to make.
